DigiGo expanding to take on the Sunday 21 service

20 Mar 24

Following Essex County Council's consultation on its support for local bus services, a decision was made in December 2023 to replace four supported services with DigiGo. As a result, DigiGo's operational area will expand to cover the areas served by these bus services.

This will provide an enhanced serviceĀ for residents, as DigiGo offers greater flexibility, extended operating hours and days compared to existing timetables.

The first of these changes commences on the 24 March 2024, with the replacement of the current Sunday 21 service.

This will mean residents can now travel on a Sunday from Deanery Gardens, Bocking to Bulford Lane, Black Notley and anywhere within the wider operational area. Journeys can be booked up to 7 days in advance, or on-demand on the day of travel.

The remainder of the services will transition to DigiGo on 28 July 2024, with more information to follow nearer the time.

Visit the DigiGo website for more information about how the service operates.
