National £3 bus fare cap extended

Chancellor Rachel Reeves has confirmed that the £3 single bus fare price cap will be extended until at least March 2027. The announcement was made as part of the government’s June 2025 Spending Review.

This extension means passengers across England can continue to benefit from more affordable single journeys for nearly two more years, supporting low-cost and greener travel choices.
