Have your say on travelling by bus in Essex

Essex County Council is inviting residents, passengers, and local communities to take part in a new bus survey launching in June 2025. 

The online survey will be open from Monday 2 June to Monday 30 June 2025. Whether you’re a regular bus user or someone who would like to use buses more, your views are important.

In addition to the online survey, a face-to-face consultation will take place from Monday 16 June to Friday 27 June 2025 at five locations across Essex. Look out for our survey teams at the following places:

• Basildon

• Chelmsford

• Colchester

• Harlow

• Billericay

Also, a QR code for the survey will be on a selection of our digital bus shelter screens. 

We want to hear from a wide range of voices across the county—so whether you travel by bus regularly, occasionally, or not at all, please take a few minutes to share your thoughts.
