Catch the bus month

Catch the Bus Month took place in September, which gave the Transport Officers in the IPTU team the opportunity to work with transport providers in Essex to encourage passengers to choose to travel by bus. Swapping a car with a bus for even one journey a week would make a huge difference to the environment.

The team visited two areas in Essex to hear about what really matters to bus users. On Wednesday 20 September, along with Hedingham Buses, they visited Colchester High Street, and on Thursday 28 September they were in Collingwood Road in Witham with Stephensons Buses.

Thanks go to both the operators for their support. The team is now considering rolling this out to other areas of Essex.
