Now that Spring is here, we welcome the much-anticipated return of the Harwich Harbour Ferry! From 1 April to 31 October 2025, the ferry service will once again connect Harwich, Shotley, and Felixstowe, offering passengers a convenient, scenic, and eco-friendly way to travel across the rivers Stour and Orwell.

The ferry operates on a single-journey fare basis, with affordable rates for adults, children, and pets:

The ferry terminals are well-connected by local bus services:
• Harwich: Services 3, 22, 104 and 118
• Felixstowe: Service 77
