Harwich Harbour Ferry - set sail for the new season on 1 April 2025

Now that Spring is here, we welcome the much-anticipated return of the Harwich Harbour Ferry! From 1 April to 31 October 2025, the ferry service will once again connect Harwich, Shotley, and Felixstowe, offering passengers a convenient, scenic, and eco-friendly way to travel across the rivers Stour and Orwell.

Whether you’re a commuter, a tourist, or simply looking for a relaxing day out, the Harwich Harbour Ferry provides a unique experience on the water. Passengers can enjoy stunning river views, spot local wildlife, and even witness the bustling operations of Felixstowe, one of Europe’s largest container ports. The ferry terminals are well-connected by local bus services:

• Harwich: Services 3, 22, 104 and 118
• Felixstowe: Service 77
