In 2024/2025, Essex County Council launched the first round of the Love Your Bus Grant Fund, supporting community-led projects designed to enhance local bus services.

The programme demonstrated:

These projects focused on improving local connectivity, increasing awareness, and supporting more people to travel by bus.
